1)  Do I need to register?

• If you have a scheduled surgery you must register with us in person. If you are planning to deliver your baby at the Woman's Hospital of Texas, you must also register with us in person or on-line. We are a separate entity from the hospital, therefore you must register separately with the Woman's Hospital of Texas. The hospital provides on line registration for you convenience through their website. 

2)   Is Anesthesia Specialists contracted with my insurance provider?

• Anesthesia Specialists of Houston is contracted with numerous insurance providers, however contracts are subject to change. To ensure that you receive the most current information please contact our billing office to speak with one of our financial counselor.

3)  What if I do not have  insurance?

• We understand that not everyone has insurance, to discuss  payment arrangements please contact our office as soon as possible to speak with one of our financial counselor's, as all anesthesia fees must be paid prior to services rendered.

4)  What if my medical procedure is not covered by my insurance?

• If  the medical procedure you are having is not covered by your insurance carrier, please contact our billing office as soon as possible to discuss payment arrangements, as all anesthesia fees must be paid prior to services rendered.

5)   What will the cost  of Anesthesia be for my procedure?

• The cost of anesthesia is an estimate that is based on the time needed for your specific procedure. To obtain an estimate for your  procedure, please contact our billing office as soon as possible. If you have insurance, your  provider will be billed as a courtesy prior to receiving your statement.

6)   How can I pay my bill?

• We have several options available for our patients convenience.

  • Payments can be made over the phone to one of our financial counselor's Monday through Friday at 713-790-1349. Payments can also be made  through our secured on-line payment option. We accept all major credit cards, personal checks, money orders, and cash.

7)   Can I Check my balance on line?

• No, the balance can not be checked on-line, but we will be happy to assist you with all billing questions you may have. Please contact our billing office to obtain your most current balance at 713-790-1349. 

8)    Can I choose my Anesthesiologists?

• No, due to the nature of our business, our team of Anesthesiologists are on a scheduled rotation 24 hours a day, seven days a week, which is subject to change.  Be assured there is always an anesthesiologists available to assist our patients at The Woman's Hospital of Texas 24 hours a day.
